Heaven Cake Bliss (Print Version)

Super soft and pillowy cake with vanilla hints that practically melt on your tongue. So easy to share and enjoy.

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 3 grams fine salt
02 - 8 grams baking powder
03 - 5 millilitres vanilla extract
04 - 240 millilitres whole milk
05 - 4 large eggs
06 - 227 grams unsalted butter, softened
07 - 200 grams granulated sugar
08 - 250 grams all-purpose flour

# Steps:

01 - Tip the batter right into your pan. Pop it in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Stick in a toothpick—if it comes out clean, you’re good. Let it cool off before you cut it.
02 - Grab another bowl, stir together salt, baking powder, and flour. Slowly toss half those dry parts into your batter, then pour in half the milk. Do this again with the rest, mixing just till it all comes together.
03 - Mix in that vanilla until you can’t see streaks.
04 - Crack one egg at a time into the bowl, mixing each in before adding the next.
05 - Beat the soft butter and sugar together until they’re light and fluffy looking.
06 - Rub some butter or oil over your 23 x 33 cm pan, dust with flour, and make sure you hit those corners.
07 - Set your oven to warm up at 175°C.

01 - Keep your cake in a sealed box or container to keep it soft.
02 - Try it topped with a handful of berries or a bit of whipped cream if you want something extra.
03 - If your pan is a different size, the cake might cook faster or slower—thin ones are done quicker.
