Baked onion rings loaded with mozzarella—crunchy, golden, and an easy snack for sharing.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup (100 g) mozzarella, shredded
02 - 2 big onions

→ Coating

03 - 1 teaspoon paprika
04 - Salt to your liking
05 - 1 cup (70 g) breadcrumbs
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 cup (60 g) plain flour
08 - Pepper to taste
09 - 2 eggs

# Steps:

01 - Put down parchment paper on your baking tray to keep things from sticking.
02 - Set your oven to 200°C, which is 400°F, so it heats up well.
03 - Cut thick rings from the onions, then pull the layers apart. Keep them close by.
04 - Pack each onion ring with shredded mozzarella right in the center hole.
05 - In a shallow bowl, toss breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and salt together.
06 - Put the flour in a shallow dish and crack the eggs into another bowl and whisk them up.
07 - Toss your stuffed rings into flour first, dunk in whisked eggs, then roll in your breadcrumb mix until covered.
08 - Put your breaded onion rings onto the tray and bake about 20–25 minutes, or until they've browned up and turned crispy.

# Notes:

01 - Go with big onions so stuffing mozzarella is easy.
02 - Change up the seasonings to suit your own taste buds.
03 - Eat while they're hot, and dip into your favorite sauce.
