Cinnamon Apple Crisp (Print Version)

Juicy apples and cinnamon sit under a crunchy, crumbly layer—a warm and inviting comfort sweet.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 teaspoon (3 g) ground cinnamon
02 - 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar
03 - About 6 cups (900 g) apples, peeled, cored, then sliced up

→ Crisp Topping

04 - 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g) salt
05 - 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
07 - 1 cup (100 g) rolled oats

# Steps:

01 - Pop it in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when the top’s got a golden color and you see the apples bubbling underneath.
02 - Spoon that crumbly oat mix all over the apples, covering every bit so you get crunch in every bite.
03 - Toss oats, flour, salt, and the melted butter in a new bowl. Mix it up till it’s a bit chunky and holds together if you pinch it.
04 - Dump the apple blend into your baking dish. Spread it out so it’s level.
05 - Grab a big bowl, stir your apple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon. Give them a good mix so they’re all coated.
06 - Turn your oven on to 175°C to get it warmed up.

# Notes:

01 - It’s tastiest when warm. Try it with a scoop of your favorite ice cream.
02 - Any kind of apples work—using more than one type can make it even better.
03 - Pop leftovers in a sealed container and keep it in the fridge.
