Caramelized Peaches (Print Version)

Warm and juicy peaches get buttery and sweet thanks to brown sugar, cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
02 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
03 - 4 tablespoons brown sugar
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 4 juicy peaches (about 600g), cleaned well, pitted, cut in half, then sliced into quarters

# Steps:

01 - Take the pan off the heat. Dish up while it's hot. Pile peaches on top of pancakes, ice cream, or heap on whipped cream if you want. Great just by themselves too.
02 - Splash the vanilla over your peaches. Give everything one last quick stir so it all comes together.
03 - Gently place the peach slices in the hot skillet. Let ‘em cook for about 5 minutes, flipping now and then so they get soft and start to brown up a bit.
04 - Dump in your cinnamon and brown sugar with the melted butter. Stir until it’s all smooth and mixed in.
05 - Put your skillet over medium heat. Toss in the butter. Wait till it’s totally melted and bubbly.
06 - First, rinse off your peaches really well. Chop ‘em in half, whip out the pits, then cut each half into quarters.

# Notes:

01 - Pick peaches that feel just a bit soft when you press them. That means they're nice and sweet.
