Take the pan off the heat. Dish up while it's hot. Pile peaches on top of pancakes, ice cream, or heap on whipped cream if you want. Great just by themselves too.

Splash the vanilla over your peaches. Give everything one last quick stir so it all comes together.

Gently place the peach slices in the hot skillet. Let ‘em cook for about 5 minutes, flipping now and then so they get soft and start to brown up a bit.

Dump in your cinnamon and brown sugar with the melted butter. Stir until it’s all smooth and mixed in.

Put your skillet over medium heat. Toss in the butter. Wait till it’s totally melted and bubbly.

First, rinse off your peaches really well. Chop ‘em in half, whip out the pits, then cut each half into quarters.
