Steak Penne Garlic Parm (Print Version)

Steak and penne swim in a smooth, garlicky parmesan cream. Fast, filling, and loaded with taste.

# Ingredients:

01 - Chopped fresh parsley, for sprinkling
02 - Black pepper as much as you like
03 - Salt, just enough
04 - 100 g parmesan, grated by hand
05 - 240 ml heavy cream
06 - 4 garlic cloves, minced finely
07 - 60 g butter, unsalted
08 - 225 g penne
09 - 450 g steak, chunked up

# Steps:

01 - Give it a good sprinkle of parsley and fresh black pepper before you dig in. Taste and tweak the salt too.
02 - Toss in the cooked penne and swirl it around until every noodle gets that creamy coat.
03 - Drop in all that parmesan and stir it gently till the sauce is smooth and cheesy.
04 - Slowly pour in the cream, bring it to a low simmer, and scrape up every tasty bit stuck to the pan.
05 - Toss in the steak pieces. Stir and turn so every edge sears up nice and brown.
06 - Get your skillet going over medium. Melt the butter then throw in your minced garlic and let it get fragrant. Just about a minute.
07 - Cook penne in salty water till it's got a bite to it. Drain it well and toss it aside for later.

# Notes:

01 - Letting steak hang out in a marinade first makes the flavors pop.
02 - Grate the parmesan fresh to help it melt right in and keep things tasty.
