Lo Mein Chicken 15 Min (Printable Version)

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Chicken Mix

01 - Thin slices of 450 g boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
02 - Sesame oil 5 ml
03 - 30 ml soy sauce
04 - 8 g cornstarch

→ Sauce Blend

05 - 5 g sugar
06 - 30 ml oyster sauce
07 - 45 ml low-salt soy sauce
08 - 15 ml sesame oil
09 - 5 g cornstarch

→ Main Fixings

10 - 2 minced garlic cloves
11 - 3 chopped green onions
12 - 300 g assorted veggies like carrots, bell peppers, snap peas
13 - Salt and pepper to your liking
14 - 30 ml vegetable oil split up
15 - 1 medium onion sliced
16 - 340 g fresh lo mein or 225 g dried noodles

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Put chicken, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil in a bowl. Let it soak in a bit.
02 - Mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch until it’s smooth in a small bowl.
03 - Cook the noodles by the package directions. Drain well and set to the side.
04 - Heat half the oil in a wok on medium-high. Cook chicken till it's golden and done. Take it out and keep warm.
05 - Use the same wok with the leftover oil. Toss onions and veggies till they’re crisp-tender.
06 - Add chicken back, then noodles and sauce. Mix well so everything’s coated and hot.
07 - Sprinkle chopped green onions on top. Serve right away while it’s warm.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Go for low-salt soy sauce to keep salt down. Use whatever veggies you have. Add some red pepper flakes if you want a little spice.
