Egg Toast Air Fryer (Print Version)

Buttery toast loaded with eggs and browned up in the air fryer for a quick, cozy bite in the morning.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 2 fresh large eggs
02 - 2 hefty bread slices (like Texas toast or brioche)
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or a quick spritz of cooking spray
04 - A little salt, to taste
05 - A small shake of ground black pepper

→ Optional Topping

06 - 3 tablespoons grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - Use a spatula to lift each toast out and get them onto your plates right away.
02 - Throw some shredded cheese on top during the last couple minutes, if you want it melty.
03 - Pop the loaded bread into the air fryer basket (lay down parchment paper if you like). Let it go for 4 to 7 minutes, depending on how runny you want those yolks.
04 - Dust eggs with salt and pepper—just a pinch for each.
05 - Gently break an egg right into the little dip on each bread piece.
06 - Grab a spoon or measuring cup and press a dent right in the middle of each bread slice.
07 - Coat both bread sides lightly with butter or use some cooking spray.
08 - Get the air fryer hot by setting it to 175°C and letting it warm up for a few minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Keep an eye on things at the end so your yolks turn out just the way you like them.
