Use a spatula to lift each toast out and get them onto your plates right away.

Throw some shredded cheese on top during the last couple minutes, if you want it melty.

Pop the loaded bread into the air fryer basket (lay down parchment paper if you like). Let it go for 4 to 7 minutes, depending on how runny you want those yolks.

Dust eggs with salt and pepper—just a pinch for each.

Gently break an egg right into the little dip on each bread piece.

Grab a spoon or measuring cup and press a dent right in the middle of each bread slice.

Coat both bread sides lightly with butter or use some cooking spray.
