Get the oven heated to 190°C and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.

Put ground turkey, apple, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, sage, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper into a big bowl. Mix it up well so it all sticks together.

Roll the mix into balls about 3.8 cm (1 1/2-inch) wide using your hands. Spread them out on the lined tray so they’re not touching.

Pour olive oil over the meatballs to help them get that nice color while baking.

Pop the tray in the oven. Cook for 20-25 minutes until the meatballs turn golden and reach 75°C inside.

Take them out and let them sit for a few minutes before digging in while still warm.
