→ Cream Cheese Glaze

12 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
13 - 1 cup powdered sugar
14 - 1 tablespoon milk
15 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Steps:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
04 - Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until well combined. Mix in the mashed bananas until evenly incorporated.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped walnuts.
06 - Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
07 - Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
08 - To make the cream cheese glaze, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until the glaze is smooth and drizzle-able.
09 - Once the cookies are completely cool, drizzle or spread the cream cheese glaze over the top of each cookie.
