Buffalo Chicken Pizza (Print Version)

Hot buffalo chicken, smooth blue cheese, tangy banana peppers, and stretchy mozzarella pile up on crunchy golden bread.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 35 g banana pepper rings, patted dry
02 - 35 g red onion, thinly sliced
03 - 165 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
04 - 120 ml pizza sauce
05 - 450 g pizza dough, room temperature
06 - 60 ml blue cheese dressing, divided (swap for ranch if you want)
07 - 80 ml buffalo sauce, and a bit more to drizzle on top
08 - 1.5 cups (about 225g) shredded cooked chicken

→ Garlic Butter Parmesan Crust

09 - 0.5 g garlic powder
10 - 5 g Parmesan cheese, finely grated
11 - 15 g unsalted butter, melted

→ To Garnish

12 - Fresh parsley, chopped
13 - Red pepper flakes
14 - Chives or green onions, finely sliced

# Steps:

01 - Right before serving, toss on some chopped parsley, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and plenty of sliced chives or green onion. Cut into slices and dig in while it's hot!
02 - Once you pull it from the oven, slather the crust with your garlic butter Parmesan mixture. Set it back in the oven for two or three minutes, just till that edge gets nicely browned.
03 - Mix the melted butter, Parmesan, and a shake of garlic powder together in a tiny bowl. Stick it aside till it's time for the crust.
04 - Pop your creation in the oven. Give it around 13 minutes, watching for gooey cheese and a crust that starts to look cooked through.
05 - Now grab that extra buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing. Drizzle both over everything for extra punch.
06 - Start by spreading pizza sauce right over the crust. Next, throw on most of the mozzarella. Pile on your marinated chicken, then scatter those banana peppers and sliced onions. Use the rest of the cheese to cover it all.
07 - Oil up a pizza pan or stone. Roll out your dough to fit, then poke holes everywhere with a fork so you won't get giant bubbles.
08 - Grab a bowl and toss the chicken, buffalo sauce, and a spoonful of blue cheese dressing together. Let it sit while you prep everything else.
09 - Heat your oven to 232°C. If you want a crispy finish, toss a pizza stone in there as the oven heats up so it gets super hot.

# Notes:

01 - For that real cheesy pull, shred your own low-moisture mozzarella from a block. It melts way better.
02 - If you like bold flavors, try Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese or any good refrigerated dressing you love.
03 - Store-bought dough is quick and easy, but don't be shy—homemade gives your crust a nice chew.
04 - Skip using fresh mozz here. Too much liquid will wreck your crust's crunch.
