Burrata Tomato Basil Toast (Print Version)

Crispy bread topped with creamy burrata, sweet tomatoes, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze—every bite bursts with brightness.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 garlic cloves, split in half
02 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
03 - 1 baguette, cut into thick slices about 1.25 cm each

→ Topping

04 - Freshly ground black pepper, as much as you like
05 - Salt, just a sprinkle or two
06 - 3 tablespoons thick balsamic glaze
07 - 15 basil leaves, chopped up
08 - 250 g cherry tomatoes, cut in half
09 - 200 g burrata cheese, torn into chunks

# Steps:

01 - After you add all your toppings, drizzle balsamic glaze all over the toasts, sprinkle with salt and a bit of pepper, and dig right in while it's fresh.
02 - Throw those basil bits over everything for a burst of flavor and color.
03 - Plop a few halved tomatoes right on top of the cheesy toasts.
04 - Take the warm toasts, add lots of burrata pieces to each one.
05 - While your bread's heating up, gently break the burrata into smaller portions without losing too much of the creamy center.
06 - Pop those slices in the oven until they're nice and crispy, should take about 8–10 minutes.
07 - Coat each side of the sliced bread with some olive oil, then rub with the cut side of your garlic for a flavor boost.
08 - Cut your baguette into rounds about a finger wide, then spread them out on a tray so none overlap.
09 - Crank your oven up to 190°C and give it time to warm up all the way.

# Notes:

01 - Grab the freshest baguette you can—it truly makes every bite better.
02 - Love garlic or prefer it mellow? Just rub more or less on the bread based on what you like.
03 - Wanna mix it up? Extra toppings like sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, or prosciutto give awesome flavor.
04 - No balsamic glaze on hand? Regular balsamic vinegar or reduction works just fine.
05 - Oregano or thyme can totally change the vibes—try swapping in different herbs.
