Set the oven to 190°C (375°F) and let it warm up.

Cut the pizza dough into 7.5 by 7.5 cm squares on a floured surface.

Put the mozzarella, pepperoni, and marinara sauce into the middle of each dough square.

Fold the squares into balls, making sure the edges are sealed tight around the filling.

Put the dough balls seam-side down on a greased tray. Brush them with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes if you want a little heat.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until they're golden and cooked all the way through.

Let them sit a bit before adding fresh basil on top if you like. Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
