# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Sugars

01 - 300 grams granulated sugar
02 - 60 grams powdered sugar for topping

→ Dry parts

03 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
04 - 250 grams all-purpose flour
05 - 30 grams all-purpose flour to coat chocolate pieces
06 - 0.5 teaspoon salt

→ Wet stuff and fat

07 - 115 grams softened unsalted butter
08 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
09 - 240 milliliters whole milk

→ Eggs

10 - 3 large eggs

→ Chocolate

11 - 225 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 - 2 tablespoons cocoa powder for drizzling

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 175°C. Grease a 23 cm round pan and dust it with flour so the cake won't stick.
02 - Whip up the softened butter and granulated sugar until it looks fluffy and light.
03 - One by one, mix in the eggs really well. Then pour in the vanilla and stir it through.
04 - In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt so they're combined.
05 - Add the dry mix to the butter mix little by little, alternating with milk. Start and finish with the dry stuff. Stir just until everything comes together.
06 - Cover the chocolate chips with the 30 grams of flour so they don’t all sink. Carefully fold them into the batter.
07 - Pour the mixture into your pan and spread it out evenly.
08 - Bake for around 25 to 30 minutes. Check it by poking with a toothpick—it should come out clean.
09 - Once cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and drizzle cocoa powder to finish it off.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Dusting chocolate bits with flour stops them sinking to the bottom. Make sure butter is soft to get a smooth mix. Oven heat varies, so check with a toothpick to be sure it's done.
