Air Fryer Cinnamon Banana Chips (Print Version)

Crispy air-fried banana bites with sweet cinnamon sugar—light, tasty, and perfect for munching.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil
02 - 2 medium-sized bananas, just ripe and on the firm side

→ Cinnamon Sugar Coating

03 - 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon powder
04 - 1 tablespoon white sugar

# Steps:

01 - Once they’ve cooled on a rack, dig in or keep them in a tight container for a few days.
02 - Set your air fryer to 150°C. Cook the banana slices for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping them over at the halfway point. Start checking how they’re going by the 12-minute mark. When they’re golden and feeling crisp, you’re good.
03 - Place the sugar-coated banana rounds flat in your air fryer basket. Don’t let them stack or touch. Just stack a new batch if you’ve got too many.
04 - After brushing both sides of each banana round with coconut oil, dust on as much cinnamon-sugar as you like. Make sure to cover each one.
05 - Mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a little bowl. Give it a few good stirs so there aren’t any clumps.
06 - Chop the peeled bananas into thin, even discs—about 3 mm thick works best. Use a steady hand or mandoline if you want.

# Notes:

01 - For easy slicing and extra crunch, look for bananas that are barely ripe and pretty firm.
02 - Feel free to up or lower the sugar or cinnamon, or swap in a sweetener that fits what you eat.
03 - If the chips aren’t crisp after your first round, add two extra minutes at a time in the air fryer. Keep an eye out so nothing burns.
