→ Fats and Oils

02 - 30 ml extra virgin olive oil
03 - 45 g unsalted butter

→ Aromatics and Seasonings

04 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, as you like
05 - 1.25 ml red pepper flakes (if you want some heat)
06 - 4 garlic cloves, minced finely

→ Liquids

07 - Juice from 1 lemon (about 30 ml)
08 - 120 ml dry white wine or chicken broth

→ Herbs and Cheese

09 - 25 g grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
10 - 15 g fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped up

→ Serving Suggestion

11 - Crusty bread or cooked pasta

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Cook shrimp in the pan until they turn pink and aren't see-through, about 2-3 minutes each side. Take them out and keep aside.
02 - Melt butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Toss in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until you smell their aroma, around 1-2 minutes.
03 - Pour the wine or chicken broth into the skillet, scraping up those tasty browned bits on the bottom. Let it bubble gently for 2-3 minutes to shrink a bit.
04 - Mix in the lemon juice and parsley. Add shrimp back to the pan and stir them around so they soak up the sauce.
05 - Dish it out right away. Top with Parmesan if you want. Goes great over pasta or with crunchy bread.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Using both butter and olive oil adds a nice rich flavor and smell. Tweak the red pepper flakes to match how spicy you like it. Serve fast so shrimp stays tender.
