Milk Lemonade (Print Version)

Tangy lemon and sweet milk come together for a creamy drink that’s served icy cold and freshened up with mint sprigs.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cups (480 ml) chilled water
02 - 1 cup (305 g) sweetened condensed milk
03 - 1 cup (240 ml) fresh lemon juice, strained

→ Optional Sweetener

04 - About 60 ml simple syrup, use to taste if you want it sweeter

→ To Serve

05 - Lemon wheels for decoration
06 - Handful of ice
07 - A few mint sprigs to finish

# Steps:

01 - Drop some lemon slices and mint on top. Give it a little stir right before you hand it out so the taste mingles together.
02 - Start by tossing a bunch of ice cubes in tall glasses. Pour the cold lemon mix over the ice.
03 - Pop the whole pitcher in your fridge for at least half an hour so it gets really cold. Or skip this if you're in a rush.
04 - Pour the chilly water in slowly, stirring as you go. If you like it sweeter, drizzle in a little simple syrup, taste, and add more until it's just right.
05 - Whisk together the strained lemon juice and that thick condensed milk right in a big pitcher. Mix till it's smooth—no lumps allowed.
06 - Roll lemons with your palm on the counter to squeeze out extra juice. Cut ‘em up, juice them all, and pour through a strainer to grab any bits or seeds till you hit 240 ml.

# Notes:

01 - Try squashing some fresh berries or tossing in basil with your mint to bump up the taste.
