Cheesecake Brownies Swirl (Print Version)

Dense, chocolaty brownies swirled with rich cheesecake for an easy anytime treat that'll wow your friends.

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Base

01 - 170 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips
02 - 3 grams salt
03 - 125 grams all-purpose flour
04 - 100 grams unsweetened cocoa powder
05 - 10 millilitres vanilla extract
06 - 4 large eggs
07 - 400 grams granulated sugar
08 - 225 grams unsalted butter

→ Cream Cheese Swirl

09 - 2.5 millilitres vanilla extract
10 - 1 large egg
11 - 50 grams granulated sugar
12 - 225 grams cream cheese, softened

# Steps:

01 - Pop it in the oven for 35–40 minutes. Stick a toothpick into the middle—if it comes out with just a few damp crumbs, you’re set. Wait till it’s totally cool before cutting into bars.
02 - Spread about two-thirds of the brownie mixture into your lined pan. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese filling all over on top. Pour the rest of that chocolate batter on, then swirl the two layers with a knife so you get those cool marbled streaks—just don’t swirl too much.
03 - Grab your softened cream cheese and whip it till smooth. Mix in your sugar 'til it gets creamy. Crack in the egg and pour in the vanilla, then beat again till the whole thing’s silky and smooth.
04 - Toss your butter in the microwave till melted. Mix the melted butter and sugar till they're totally blended. Drop in the eggs one by one, mixing well with each. Splash in the vanilla next. Over in another bowl, stir the cocoa, flour, and salt together. Bit by bit, add your dry mix to the wet, stirring everything together. Gently mix in those chocolate chips at the end.
05 - Heat your oven to 175°C. Cover your 23 x 33 cm baking dish with parchment, then hit it with a little nonstick spray. Now you’re all set.

# Notes:

01 - Let your butter, eggs, and cream cheese sit out so everything blends smoothly and the swirl looks great.
