Salami Cream Cheese Bites (Print Version)

Chive-loaded cream cheese wrapped tight in salty salami—super easy, rich-tasting finger food you’ll want to snack on.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - Dash of black pepper, freshly ground
02 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
03 - 2 teaspoons onion flakes, dried
04 - 2 teaspoons dried chives
05 - 225 grams cream cheese, let it soften

→ Wrap

06 - 12 round salami slices (close to 7.5 cm across for each)

→ Optional Garnish and Accompaniment

07 - Pretzel sticks on the side
08 - Pitted green olives for topping

# Steps:

01 - Grab a bowl and toss in the cream cheese, chives, onion flakes, garlic powder, and the black pepper. Mash them all together until it looks pretty smooth.
02 - Set your salami pieces down side by side on a cutting board. Make sure they’re flat and ready to get topped.
03 - Scoop out some filling and cover each salami round. Try not to leave any bare spots around the edges.
04 - Take one salami slice and roll it up tight from one end to the other. Pop a toothpick through to keep it all together.
05 - Stick a green olive right on top with the toothpick if you’re into that. It’ll give a pop of flavor and look cool.
06 - Pile them up on a platter and set some pretzel sticks next to them. Eat right away or stash them in the fridge for later.

# Notes:

01 - Want it lighter? Try swapping in Greek yogurt or low-fat cheese spread for the cream cheese.
02 - Toss in some chopped fresh parsley or dill if you want more herby vibes.
03 - Love a little heat? Mix some minced jalapeños into your cream cheese before spreading.
