Beef Tips with Noodles (Printable Version)

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Seasoned Beef

01 - Beef tips or stew meat 907 g
02 - Pepper and salt as you like

→ Aromatics and Veggies

03 - Minced garlic, 3 cloves
04 - Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
05 - 1 medium onion, chopped

→ Sauces and Liquids

06 - Onion soup mix packet, 28 g
07 - Beef broth 710 ml
08 - 30 ml Worcestershire sauce

→ Thickeners and Noodles

09 - All-purpose flour, 30 g
10 - Egg noodles 340 g (12 oz)

→ Oils

11 - Olive oil, 30 ml

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Warm the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sprinkle salt and pepper on your beef, then brown it on all sides. Put the beef into your slow cooker.
02 - Using the same pan, cook the onion and garlic until they’re soft and smelling good. Add these to the slow cooker.
03 - Mix the broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and flour in a bowl. Pour that over the beef and veggies in the slow cooker.
04 - Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours till the beef feels tender.
05 - Prepare egg noodles according to their package instructions around half an hour before eating. Drain and keep warm.
06 - Put the beef and gravy over the noodles and, if you want, sprinkle with parsley.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - If you want it thicker, stir 1 tbsp cornstarch into 2 tbsp cold water and add it into the slow cooker about half an hour before done.
02 - Taste and add more salt or pepper after it’s cooked if you want.
03 - Try adding green beans or a simple salad on the side to round out your meal.
