Dragonfruit Lemonade Boost (Print Version)

Bright pink dragonfruit lemonade splashed with fresh citrus and a breezy tropical note. Free from artificial stuff.

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Chop up one medium-sized pink dragonfruit after peeling it
02 - Pour 60 ml warm water to help blend the dragonfruit

→ Citrus

03 - Grab 240 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (you'll need around 6 to 8 lemons)

→ Sweetener

04 - 120–180 g white sugar—use more or less depending how sweet you want it

→ Liquid

05 - 960 ml cool water, split into parts as needed

→ Serving and Garnish (optional)

06 - Roughly 140 g of ice cubes (about 1 cup)
07 - Slices of lemon
08 - Mint sprigs
09 - Chunks of dragonfruit

# Steps:

01 - Finish by adding ice cubes to your glasses or mix it all in the pitcher before pouring. Top each glass with a bit of dragonfruit, some mint, and a slice of lemon if you like.
02 - Let your pitcher hang out in the fridge for no less than 2 hours so everything gets cold and the tastes mix nicely.
03 - Pour the dragonfruit mix through a fine strainer straight into your big pitcher. Give it a really good stir to mix up the color and flavor.
04 - Grab a big pitcher and add in your lemon juice, the simple syrup you made and whatever cold water you have left. Stir until it all comes together.
05 - Put your sugar and 240 ml of your cold water into a saucepan. Heat on medium, keep stirring till the sugar vanishes. Take it off the heat and let it cool.
06 - In a blender, whizz up the chopped chunks of dragonfruit with some warm water until you have a silky smooth mix.

# Notes:

01 - Want it less sweet? Just go with a smaller amount of sugar to start. Mix everything up and taste before tossing in more.
02 - If you want your drink to look extra bright, grab dragonfruit with a super pink inside.
