Garlic Loaf (Print Version)

Crunchy slices with buttery garlic, shredded Parmesan, and parsley. Simple and yummy for any dinner.

# Ingredients:

→ For Garlic Bread

01 - 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese, optional
02 - 0.25 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
03 - 1 loaf French or Italian bread
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 0.25 teaspoon salt
06 - 113 g unsalted butter, softened
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

# Steps:

01 - Once it’s baked, chop up the bread and hand out hot slices.
02 - Set the bread pieces (buttered side facing up) on a tray. Cook in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until you see golden edges and a crunchy top.
03 - If Parmesan sounds good, toss it on top of your buttered bread now.
04 - Smear the buttery garlic mix over the cut sides of the bread. Be generous so every bite gets flavor.
05 - Toss butter, garlic you’ve minced, chopped parsley, a touch of salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Stir it all up until it looks totally mixed and creamy.
06 - Take your loaf and slice it down the length to make two big pieces.
07 - Fire up your oven and get it nice and warm at 190°C.

# Notes:

01 - Want more crunch? After baking, flick on the broiler for two minutes, but watch it close so it doesn’t burn.
02 - You can sub in garlic powder instead of fresh if you’re after a softer garlic taste.
03 - Leftovers losing their crunch? Pop ’em in the oven or air fryer to crisp them right up.
