Once it’s baked, chop up the bread and hand out hot slices.

Set the bread pieces (buttered side facing up) on a tray. Cook in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until you see golden edges and a crunchy top.

If Parmesan sounds good, toss it on top of your buttered bread now.

Smear the buttery garlic mix over the cut sides of the bread. Be generous so every bite gets flavor.

Toss butter, garlic you’ve minced, chopped parsley, a touch of salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Stir it all up until it looks totally mixed and creamy.

Take your loaf and slice it down the length to make two big pieces.

Fire up your oven and get it nice and warm at 190°C.
