Beef Garlic Butter Rollups (Print Version)

Crescent rolls stuffed with cheesy beef and garlic butter make a warm and super satisfying bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 150 g cheddar cheese, shredded
02 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
03 - 1 tablespoon ketchup
04 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 2 garlic cloves, minced up
07 - 1 small onion, chopped up fine
08 - 450 g ground beef

→ Dough

09 - 225 g chilled crescent dough or pizza dough

→ Garlic Butter Glaze and Garnish

10 - Sesame seeds, if you want
11 - 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley (if you'd like)
12 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
13 - 45 g unsalted butter, melted

# Steps:

01 - Once they’re out of the oven, you can brush on more garlic butter, scatter over parsley if you want, then let them cool off for a few minutes before grabbing one.
02 - Slide the rolls into your hot oven. Leave them for 13 to 15 minutes—they’ll turn golden and cheesy inside.
03 - Mix garlic powder into the melted butter. Slather this all over the tops of your rollups. If you’re into sesame seeds, sprinkle them on now.
04 - Pile some beef filling onto each dough piece, toss over the cheese, then roll them up and pinch the seams shut. Place seam-down so they stay closed.
05 - Pop open the crescent roll tube and pull them apart into triangles. Or cut your pizza dough into 8 squares.
06 - Toss in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, mustard, and ketchup. Stir and keep things cooking for another two minutes, then get it off the heat.
07 - Heat up your skillet, crumble in the beef, and add the chopped onion. Sizzle and mix until the meat’s all browned up. Drain extra grease.
08 - Turn your oven to 190 C and lay down parchment paper on a baking tray.

# Notes:

01 - Want a crunchier bite? Set your tray on the lowest oven rack.
02 - Lean filling swap: ground turkey works great instead of beef.
