Put butter on one side of each bread slice carefully.

Cook ground beef in a pan over medium heat until no pink’s left. Add salt and pepper. Drain fat and set it aside.

Lay the bread slices down with the butter side facing down. Sprinkle cheese on two pieces first. Then pile cooked beef and chopped veggies on top.

Top each with the other bread slice, butter side up this time.

Warm a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grill sandwiches around 3 to 4 minutes on each side till they’re golden and the cheese melts.

Take the sandwiches off heat and let them sit for a bit before cutting. Best when hot.
