Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C) so it gets nice and hot.

Cook ground beef in a pan on medium heat until brown. Drain the fat. Toss in onions, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir for a couple minutes until it smells good.

In a bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.

Oil a 9x13 inch pan. Layer half the potato slices on the bottom. Next, spread half the beef mix, then half the mushroom sauce. Repeat these steps once more.

Scatter shredded cheddar evenly on the top and cover the whole thing with foil.

Put the dish in the oven and bake covered for 50 minutes.

Take off the foil and bake uncovered for another 10 to 15 minutes till the cheese is bubbly and browned.

Let your dish cool for 5 minutes. If you want, sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.
