01 - 1 pound ground beef

02 - Chopped fresh parsley to sprinkle, if you like
03 - 1 small onion, chopped fine
04 - 4 peeled russet potatoes sliced thin

05 - Cheddar cheese, shredded, 6 ounces
06 - 1 cup milk

07 - One 10-ounce can of cream of mushroom soup

08 - Salt and black pepper to suit your taste
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
11 - Half a teaspoon onion powder

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Turn your oven on to 375°F (190°C) so it gets nice and hot.
02 - Cook ground beef in a pan on medium heat until brown. Drain the fat. Toss in onions, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir for a couple minutes until it smells good.
03 - In a bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
04 - Oil a 9x13 inch pan. Layer half the potato slices on the bottom. Next, spread half the beef mix, then half the mushroom sauce. Repeat these steps once more.
05 - Scatter shredded cheddar evenly on the top and cover the whole thing with foil.
06 - Put the dish in the oven and bake covered for 50 minutes.
