Hibiscus Berry Lemon Drink (Print Version)

A stunning crimson drink that mixes flowery hibiscus, juicy strawberries, and zingy lemon for a cool summer treat.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 2 cups of water
02 - 2 tablespoons of dried hibiscus flowers or 2 hibiscus tea bags
03 - ½ a cup of strawberries
04 - ¼ cup of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
05 - 2 to 3 tablespoons of maple syrup, depending on how sweet you like it

→ Extra Toppings

06 - Mint leaves (fresh)
07 - Slices of strawberries
08 - Lemon wedges

# Steps:

01 - Start by boiling water in a tea kettle. Take it off the heat and toss in the tea bags or hibiscus flowers. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes to steep. After that, take the tea bags out or strain the flowers out. Set it aside and let it cool down.
02 - Slice up the strawberries after rinsing them. Pop them into a blender along with a quarter cup of the cooled tea. Blend them until completely smooth. If you prefer a refined texture, strain the mixture using a nut milk bag or fine sieve.
03 - Pour the cooled tea, strawberry blend, lemon juice, and maple syrup into a big pitcher. Stir thoroughly. Taste it and make adjustments—add more syrup if it needs to be sweeter or lemon juice if you’d like it tangier.
04 - Fill glasses with ice and pour in your drink. If you'd like, decorate it with fresh strawberries, mint leaves, or lemon slices. Sip and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - You can prepare the hibiscus tea a couple of days ahead and store it in the fridge for convenience.
