Let it cool off for 10 minutes before digging in.

Take off the foil and bake more for 30 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden and potatoes feel tender.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for an hour.

Layer the rest of the potatoes, beef, sauce mix, and cheese just like before.

Spread half the cheddar on top of the sauce layer.

Spread half the cooked beef on top of the potatoes. Mix the mushroom soup, chicken soup, evaporated milk, and whole milk in a bowl. Pour half the sauce evenly over the beef.

Coat a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish with butter or spray. Put half the potato slices in an even layer on the bottom.

Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Drain fat then add salt and pepper.

Turn the oven on to 190°C (375°F).
