# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Meat

01 - 450 g beef that's been ground

→ Vegetables

02 - 5 medium potatoes sliced thin

→ Dairy & Sauces

03 - 1 can (303 g) creamy chicken soup
04 - 120 ml full-fat milk
05 - 1 can (303 g) creamy mushroom soup
06 - 190 g cheddar cheese shredded
07 - 1 can (340 g) evaporated milk

→ Seasonings

08 - Salt and pepper for flavor

→ Other

09 - Butter or spray to grease the pan

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Let it cool off for 10 minutes before digging in.
02 - Take off the foil and bake more for 30 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden and potatoes feel tender.
03 - Cover the dish with foil and bake for an hour.
04 - Layer the rest of the potatoes, beef, sauce mix, and cheese just like before.
05 - Spread half the cheddar on top of the sauce layer.
06 - Spread half the cooked beef on top of the potatoes. Mix the mushroom soup, chicken soup, evaporated milk, and whole milk in a bowl. Pour half the sauce evenly over the beef.
07 - Coat a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish with butter or spray. Put half the potato slices in an even layer on the bottom.
08 - Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat. Drain fat then add salt and pepper.
09 - Turn the oven on to 190°C (375°F).

# Helpful Tips:

01 - For better taste, throw in some sliced onions between layers. If you prefer a softer cheese flavor, swap cheddar for mozzarella or a cheese mix. Keep leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge and eat within 3 days.
