# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Sauce

01 - 60 ml low-salt soy sauce
02 - 120 ml pure honey
03 - 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
04 - 30 ml rice wine vinegar
05 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped up

→ Protein

06 - 680 g chicken thighs with skin and bones

→ Topping

07 - 2 green onions thinly sliced

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Before serving, pour extra sauce over and sprinkle on the green onions.
02 - Cook covered on low heat for 6 to 8 hours or high heat for 3 to 4 hours until meat’s soft and falls apart.
03 - Add browned chicken to your slow cooker and dump the sauce over it, making sure everything's covered.
04 - Mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and ginger well in a bowl.
05 - Heat a pan over medium-high and fry chicken skin-side down for about 5 to 7 minutes until golden.
06 - Make sure garlic is chopped, ginger is grated, and green onions are sliced. Get everything ready.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Browning the chicken before slow cooking adds great flavor and makes skin crispy. If you want a thicker sauce, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 30 ml cold water and stir it in during the last half hour.
