→ Sauce

02 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
03 - 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
04 - 120 milliliters honey
05 - 30 milliliters rice vinegar
06 - 60 milliliters soy sauce, low salt

→ Garnish

07 - 2 chopped green onions

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Make sure you've got everything prepped with garlic chopped, ginger grated, and green onions ready.
02 - Heat a skillet on medium-high and cook chicken skin down for 5 to 7 minutes till it's nicely browned.
03 - Mix together honey, ginger, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar in a bowl till smooth.
04 - Put the browned chicken into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over so it's well covered.
05 - Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until it falls apart easily.
06 - Top with sliced green onions and pour any extra sauce on before you dig in.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Browning the chicken first makes it taste better and gives the skin a nice crisp. If you want a thicker sauce, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with cold water and stir it in the last half hour of cooking.
