Honey Glazed Carrots Beets (Printable Version)

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Seasonings

01 - A teaspoon of fresh thyme leaves (optional)
02 - A tablespoon of honey
03 - A bit of salt, about a teaspoon
04 - Two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
05 - Half a teaspoon of black pepper

06 - One pound of fresh beets, diced into chunks about an inch wide
07 - One pound of medium carrots, peeled and cut into pieces about an inch long

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Take the veggies out of the oven and get them on plates or mix them into salads for a tasty boost.
02 - Slide the tray in the oven and bake for around half an hour. Give everything a toss halfway to brown things nicely and get them tender.
03 - Lay the coated veggies on a sheet covered with baking paper so they roast evenly.
04 - Put chopped carrots and beets in a big bowl. Add oil, honey, salt, pepper, and thyme if you want. Stir well so everything's covered.
05 - Turn the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and wait till it’s hot.
