# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Liquids

01 - 355 ml beer (lager or pale ale works best)

→ Spices and Seasoning

02 - Salt and pepper to your liking
03 - 0.5 tsp ground mustard
04 - 0.5 tsp smoked paprika

→ Vegetables and Aromatics

05 - Fresh chives or green onions chopped for topping
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 60 g onion, diced small
08 - About 60 ml olive oil (you can skip this)

→ Dairy

09 - 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
10 - 225 g cream cheese, softened

→ Meat

11 - 450 g hot Italian sausage with casing taken off

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Sprinkle chopped chives or green onions on top. Grab some chips, pretzels, or fresh veggies and serve while it's warm.
02 - Stir in smoked paprika, ground mustard, salt, and pepper. Toss the cooked sausage back into the pan and mix everything well.
03 - Keep stirring in the shredded cheddar bit by bit until you get a smooth, creamy mix.
04 - Turn the heat down to medium-low and fold in the softened cream cheese. Stir until it’s melted and all mixed.
05 - Pour beer in and let it bubble lightly. Scrape the bottom to pick up any browned bits. Let it cook down a bit for 2 or 3 minutes.
06 - In a pan on medium heat, cook the hot sausage, breaking it up until it’s nice and brown. Get rid of extra fat.
07 - If the pan looks dry, add olive oil. Toss in the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until soft and smelling great.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Want something milder? Use sweet Italian sausage instead. Lager or pale ale beer adds flavor but any beer works. Eat it right away for best taste and texture.
