# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - Sesame seeds to sprinkle on top
02 - 600 g white rice cooked up (jasmine or short grain works great)
03 - 4 green onions sliced thin, save half for topping
04 - 0.5 g red pepper flakes (however spicy you like it)
05 - 10 ml toasted sesame oil
06 - 60 ml soy sauce or go for tamari if avoiding gluten
07 - 60 ml packed brown sugar
08 - 1 tablespoon ginger grated up fresh
09 - 3 garlic cloves chopped fine
10 - 450 g lean ground beef

# Steps:

01 - Let everything hang out in bowls for about 5 minutes. This gives the flavors a chance to soak into the rice.
02 - Grab that sliced green onion and sesame seeds. Toss 'em over each bowl. Leave some onion greens to throw on at the end.
03 - Drop hot rice into bowls. Lay the saucy beef mix right on top of each mound of rice.
04 - Toss the ginger and garlic into your cooked beef. Splash in your sauce next. Stir it up and let it bubble together for a couple of minutes so flavors can come together.
05 - Get your pan hot over medium-high. Put in your ground beef. Break it up as it cooks and keep going till it's lost all its pink.
06 - Start by making your rice like it says on the bag. Chop your garlic and grate some ginger. Grab a small bowl and mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.

# Notes:

01 - Letting the bowls chill for just five minutes really helps that flavor soak all the way through the rice.
