# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Pasta

01 - 170 grams orzo pasta, dry

→ Citrus

02 - 2 lemons, zest taken off and juice squeezed

→ Vegetables and Herbs

03 - 60 grams fresh spinach
04 - 15 grams chopped basil
05 - 240 grams cherry tomatoes, cut in half
06 - 15 grams chopped parsley

→ Oils and Seasonings

07 - 45 ml extra virgin olive oil
08 - Black pepper as you like
09 - Salt as needed

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Mix in the parsley and basil. Sprinkle salt and pepper to your liking before you eat.
02 - Put the cooked orzo into the pan with the veggies. Add the lemon juice and sprinkle the zest. Stir gently and add the saved pasta water little by little to get a smooth sauce.
03 - Warm the olive oil on medium heat in a pan. Toss in the garlic and cook till you smell it. Add the spinach and halved cherry tomatoes, cook until they get soft.
04 - Bring salted water to a boil and cook the dry orzo for about 8 to 10 minutes until it’s just tender. Save 120 ml of the water before draining the pasta.

01 - Keep at least 120 ml of pasta water handy to tweak the sauce to your liking.
02 - You can add grilled chicken or shrimp if you want some protein.
