Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat until you can fry at about 175°C.

Use tongs to take out the wontons and put them on paper towels to soak up extra oil.

Mix the lobster meat with cream cheese in a big bowl until smooth and blended.

Gently fold in the green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce so everything's spread evenly.

Lay a wrapper flat, put about a tablespoon (15 ml) of filling in the middle, wet the edges with water, then press the sides to seal tight.

Fry the wontons in batches for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until they turn nice and golden bright and crispy.

Serve hot with some sweet chili sauce or soy dipping if you like.
