Start by placing custard, bananas cut up, and wafers in a dish. Keep going till everything’s used up.

Whip up the heavy cream by hand or with a mixer until it stands up stiff.

Carefully fold the whipped cream into the warm custard till it’s smooth and creamy.

Put milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a medium pan. Keep stirring on medium heat till it thickens.
