Get the oven hot at 245°C.

Flatten the dough on a lightly floured counter until it’s how you want it.

Put the dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.

Cover the dough evenly with crushed tomatoes.

Scatter sliced mozzarella over the sauce in an even layer.

Pour olive oil all over and add salt to your taste.

Pop it in the hot oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until the crust turns golden and cheese bubbles.

Take it out and sprinkle fresh basil on top.
