01 - Heat water and salt till it boils. Toss in shrimp and let them cook for 2 to 3 minutes until they turn pink. Quickly move them to cold water to stop cooking, then chop them roughly.
02 - Grab a big bowl and mix tomato or Clamato juice, ketchup, lime juice, and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper till it tastes right.
03 - Stir in red onion, cilantro, jalapeño if you're using it, cucumber, and tomato into the sauce.
