Dish out the warm pasta and veggie mix. Sprinkle some extra Parmesan if you like.

Put the cooked orzo and broccoli into the pan with garlic. Stir in Parmesan and lemon juice well. If you want it saucier, slowly add some saved pasta water.

Warm up olive oil on medium heat then cook garlic for about a minute until it smells good.

Drain the orzo and broccoli but keep a bit of the cooking water for later use.

Drop broccoli into the boiling orzo water during the last two minutes so it softens just right.

Boil a big pot of salted water and add orzo. Let it cook 8 to 10 minutes till it’s tender but still firm.
