Parmesan Onion Ring Chips (Print Version)

Crispy baked onion slices coated with parmesan cheese and savory seasonings for a delicious low-carb snack option.

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese

01 - 12 ounces shredded parmesan cheese

→ Vegetables

02 - 1 medium white onion

→ Seasonings

03 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
04 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Oil

06 - 1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil or cooking spray

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Slice the onion into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Sprinkle half of the parmesan evenly over the sheet pan, then place the onion slices in a single layer on top of the parmesan.
03 - Sprinkle the seasonings evenly over the onion ring slices, then lightly spray each one with olive oil. Add the remaining parmesan on top and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

01 - Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and improve results.
02 - Using 1-2 large onions or 2-3 smaller ones works well.
