Chewy peanut butter cookies with a crisp finish and rich nutty taste.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Dry Stuff

01 - 1.25 grams of salt
02 - 125 grams plain flour
03 - 2.5 grams baking soda

→ Wet Stuff

04 - 1 large egg
05 - 240 grams smooth peanut butter
06 - 150 grams white sugar
07 - 5 ml vanilla essence
08 - 55 grams brown sugar

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Let cookies sit on baking sheets for a few minutes. Then move them to racks so they can cool fully.
02 - Pop them in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Watch for golden edges but soft middles.
03 - Drop spoonfuls on your baking sheets. Keep about 5 cm space between each one.
04 - Slowly add the dry mix into the wet mix. Stir carefully so it’s just combined and not too mixed.
05 - Stir the egg and vanilla into your peanut butter mix until it’s all smooth.
06 - Whip peanut butter with both sugars until the mix is light and fluffy.
07 - Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl until everything’s blended.
08 - Turn your oven to 175°C and get your baking sheets ready.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - To get chewier cookies, pull them out a bit earlier. Using natural peanut butter boosts taste but may change how the dough feels. Keep them in a sealed container at room temp and they’ll last up to 5 days.
