Paloma Grapefruit Lime (Print Version)

Bright grapefruit, lively lime, a touch of maple, salt, and fizz come together for a crisp, light mocktail with no booze.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 120 ml plain soda or swap for grapefruit soda if you like
02 - Pinch of sea salt
03 - 1 ml apple cider vinegar or you can use alcohol-free tequila
04 - 15 ml maple syrup or your top-choice sweetener
05 - 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
06 - 60 ml freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

→ Rim (optional)

07 - Lime or grapefruit wedge for running along the glass rim
08 - Salt or Tajin to coat the glass rim

# Steps:

01 - Pop a wedge of lime or grapefruit on the edge and enjoy right away.
02 - Pour the drink through a strainer into a glass with fresh ice. Top it off with your choice of soda if you want.
03 - Seal up your shaker and really shake it hard for about 15 to 20 seconds until it’s frosty and mixed up well.
04 - Toss grapefruit juice, lime juice, sweetener, apple cider vinegar, and a dash of salt into a shaker. Drop in 3 or 4 ice cubes and close it up.
05 - Put some Tajin or salt on a plate. Slide a lime or grapefruit wedge around the glass edge, then dip and twist the glass rim into the salty stuff until it sticks.

# Notes:

01 - Try swapping regular soda for lime bubbly water or toss in a splash more of fresh grapefruit juice for extra zing.
02 - Switch up the sweetener if you want. Honey syrup, simple syrup, Stevia, or monk fruit all work great.
03 - Apple cider vinegar gives the flavors a little twist. Non-alcoholic tequila is awesome if you want that classic cocktail vibe without alcohol.
