07 - Salt 2.5 milliliters
08 - Baking soda 2.5 milliliters

09 - Unwrapped chocolate kisses 24 pieces
10 - Chocolate chips 170 grams

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Heat oven to 175°C and cover two baking trays with parchment paper.
02 - Mix butter with both sugars using a mixer on medium until creamy and smooth, about 2 to 3 minutes.
03 - Beat in eggs one by one making sure each is mixed in well, then pour in vanilla and blend.
04 - In another bowl whisk flour, salt, and baking soda then slowly add to wet mix and stir lightly until just combined.
05 - Carefully mix chocolate chips into the dough by folding them with a spatula so they’re spread out evenly.
06 - Drop rounded spoonfuls or cookie scoops spaced about 5 centimeters apart onto the lined trays.
07 - Put trays in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until edges turn light golden but centers stay soft. They’ll harden as they cool.
08 - Right after baking, press a chocolate kiss into each cookie’s center. Let them sit on the trays for 5 minutes then move to a wire rack to finish cooling.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Butter and eggs work best at room temp for easier mixing and better dough texture.
02 - Don’t mix the dough too much or cookies might turn out tough.
03 - Watch the baking time closely to get lightly golden edges just right.
04 - Once cooled, keep cookies sealed in an airtight box at room temp to stay fresh for up to 3 days.
