Grilled Chicken (Printable Version)

Tender grilled chicken breast soaked in lemon, garlic, and herbs for an easy and healthy dish.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 907 grams skinless, boneless chicken breasts

→ Sauce

02 - Freshly squeezed lemon juice, 60 milliliters
03 - Extra virgin olive oil, 60 milliliters
04 - 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
05 - Paprika, as you like
06 - Salt to taste
07 - Pepper to taste
08 - Your choice of dried herbs like oregano or thyme

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Put the chicken breasts in a clean dish or bag that seals well. Pour the sauce over, seal it up, and pop it in the fridge. Let it sit for at least half an hour or up to 8 hours to soak up the flavors.
02 - Turn the grill on to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and sprayed lightly with oil so the chicken won’t stick.
03 - Mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs in a bowl. Stir it well until it’s all blended together.
04 - Take the chicken out of the sauce and place it on the hot grill. Cook each side for about 6 minutes or until it hits 74°C (165°F) inside.
05 - Move the grilled chicken to a board and loosely cover it. Let it sit for 5 minutes so the juices spread before you cut it.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Leaving the chicken in the sauce longer helps it taste better and get more tender. Always check it’s safe by making sure it’s 74°C (165°F) inside before eating.
