→ Seasonings

02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste
05 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Vegetables

08 - 1 onion, thinly sliced
09 - 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

→ Dairy

10 - 120 ml heavy cream
11 - 2 cups (about 200 grams) shredded cheddar cheese

→ Liquids and Thickeners

12 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
13 - 240 ml beef broth

→ Garnish (optional)

14 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Keep the dish warm if you're not serving right away. Just before digging in, sprinkle chopped parsley on top if you like.
02 - Put the lid on and let it cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. The potatoes should be tender and the beef cooked through.
03 - Pour the mix of broth and flour over everything in the slow cooker. Then slowly add the heavy cream on top.
04 - Add the rest of the potato slices, then the remaining onion, meat, and top with the last cup of cheddar cheese.
05 - Spread half of the browned beef over the veggies. Then sprinkle half the shredded cheddar on top.
06 - Put half the sliced potatoes in the slow cooker, then scatter half the onions evenly over them.
07 - Stir Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and flour together in a small bowl until smooth.
08 - Heat olive oil in a pan on medium. Season beef cubes with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Cook beef, turning until browned on all sides, about 5 to 7 minutes. Set aside once done.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Browning the beef first helps bring out rich flavors. Slice potatoes thin so they cook evenly. You can go for lower-fat cheese and cream if you want fewer calories but still want the taste.
