# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Line a tray with parchment paper so cookies don't stick.
02 - Take a big bowl and mix soft butter with sugar till it’s nice and fluffy.
03 - Crack in the egg and pour the vanilla. Mix everything well so it’s smooth.
04 - Stir the sourdough discard in until the dough feels nice and even.
05 - In a different bowl, give the flour, salt, and baking soda a good mix.
06 - Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet mix but don’t overdo it or cookies get tough.
07 - Gently fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles, spreading them evenly through the dough.
08 - Drop spoonfuls of dough onto your lined tray, leaving about 5 cm between each.
09 - Put the tray in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges turn a nice light brown and centers are set.
10 - Take cookies out and leave them a few minutes on the tray. Then move them to a wire rack to cool totally.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Don’t mix too much after adding flour or the cookies might end up chewy.
