# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 medium onion, diced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
06 - 2 cups beef broth
07 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Pepper, to taste
10 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
11 - 1 teaspoon paprika
12 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

# Steps:

01 - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the steak and set aside.
02 - In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
03 - Stir in the uncooked rice, beef broth, dried thyme, and paprika. Bring to a boil.
04 - Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
05 - Stir in the cooked steak and shredded cheddar cheese, mixing until the cheese is melted and everything is evenly combined.
06 - Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

# Notes:

01 - You can substitute the steak with ground beef or chicken for variation. Adding chopped bell peppers or mushrooms provides additional flavor. For extra spice, include red pepper flakes or a diced jalapeño.
