Golden fries loaded with spices and creamy, spicy cheese dip—awesome for sharing whenever the mood hits.

# Ingredients:

→ Fries

01 - Vegetable oil for frying
02 - 450 g frozen crunchy fast food fries

→ Seasoning Mixture

03 - 2 teaspoons table salt
04 - 2 teaspoons chili powder
05 - 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
06 - 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 0.25 teaspoon cayenne, if you want some heat

→ Cheese Sauce

09 - 16 slices of classic American cheese
10 - 1 tablespoon juice from pickled jalapeños
11 - 60 ml whole milk

# Steps:

01 - Toss together onion powder, garlic powder, salt, chili powder, paprika, and that optional cayenne in a little bowl. Give it a good stir so it's all one color.
02 - Fill your deep saucepan with oil, about 7.5 cm deep. Heat it to 180°C so it's good and hot.
03 - Drop a handful of frozen fries into the hot oil. Let them cook 6-8 minutes or until they're golden brown and crunchy. Scoop out with a slotted spoon and lay them on some paper towels.
04 - Rip up the cheese slices. Chuck them in a microwaveable bowl with the milk and jalapeño brine. Microwave it in 30-second pops, stirring each time, until it’s creamy and smooth.
05 - Dump your hot fries into a big bowl. Sprinkle all the spice mix on top and toss till every fry is covered.
06 - Pile the seasoned fries onto your favorite plate and put the gooey cheese sauce on the side for dunking.

# Notes:

01 - Keep your oil hot the whole time for crispy fries. Don’t wait around—enjoy them as soon as they're out of the fryer.
