02 - 3/4 cup white long-grain rice
03 - 2 cups water or beef stock
04 - One taco seasoning mix
05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
06 - 1/2 cup chopped onion
07 - 1/2 cup drained canned corn
08 - 1/2 cup rinsed and drained black beans
09 - Salt and pepper to your liking

→ Queso Sauce

10 - 1 cup queso cheese dip (store bought or your own)
11 - 1/4 cup shredded cheddar
12 - 1/4 cup milk

→ Optional Toppings

13 - Sour cream
14 - Sliced jalapeños
15 - Chopped fresh cilantro
16 - Diced fresh tomatoes

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Take off the heat and dish it out with any toppings you want like jalapeños, sour cream, tomatoes, or cilantro.
02 - Let everything cook another 2 to 3 minutes so it’s nice and hot all the way through.
03 - Drizzle the cheesy queso sauce over your taco rice mix and stir gently to cover everything.
04 - Warm the queso dip, cheddar, and milk in a small pan over low heat, stirring a lot till smooth and creamy.
05 - Put the cooked rice into the meat mix in the pan, stirring it around well. Add salt and pepper so it tastes just right.
06 - Toss in the taco seasoning, corn, and black beans. Let it all cook together for a few minutes until it smells great.
07 - Throw the ground beef into the hot pan and cook it, breaking it up till it’s evenly browned. Drain any extra fat if you see any.
08 - Heat oil in a big pan over medium heat. Add your chopped onions and cook till they look soft and see-through.
09 - Make the white rice with water or beef stock following the instructions on the package. Put it aside once done.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - Using beef stock instead of plain water gives more flavor to the rice. You can swap the beef for ground turkey or chicken if you want something lighter. Keep leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge and eat within 3 days.
