Strawberry Limeade (Print Version)

Juicy strawberries and zippy lime shake together for one cool, bright drink—ideal when the sun cranks up.

# Ingredients:

→ Simple Syrup

01 - 100 g white sugar
02 - 120 ml water

→ Fruit and Juice

03 - 680 g ripe strawberries, remove tops and chop
04 - 360 ml squeezed lime juice

→ Dilution

05 - 1.4 litres chilled water

# Steps:

01 - If you just want one, mix 90 ml of the strawberry-lime blend with 80 ml cold water. Pour it over some ice and enjoy.
02 - Drop some ice into cups then top up with your strawberry-lime drink. Fancy it up with a strawberry slice or a lime round if you’d like.
03 - Pour your blended strawberry mix into a big jug. Add all the cool water and stir it up. Give it a sip—if it's too tart, toss in more sugar; if it needs more tang, squeeze in extra lime until it tastes the way you like.
04 - Toss your chopped strawberries, fresh lime juice, and the cooled syrup into your blender. Let it whirl until it’s totally smooth and there aren’t any chunks left.
05 - Heat some water in a small pan until it’s bubbly. Mix in the sugar and stir so it melts all the way. Take off the heat and let it cool down before using.

# Notes:

01 - Pick super sweet, ripe strawberries for better taste. After blending, try a little and tweak the sugar or lime until you love it. This one's great straight from the fridge or poured over icy cubes.
