Cheesy Tater Tot Bake (Print Version)

Layers of cheesy tater tots and beef come together fast in this simple, family favorite meal.

01 - 200 g Cheddar cheese, shredded
02 - 450 g tater tots, keep frozen
03 - Black pepper, add as you like
04 - Salt, add as much as you want
05 - 300 g can cream of mushroom soup, condensed
06 - 450 g beef, ground

# Steps:

01 - Cut straight from the oven while it's still sizzling. Dish it out right away to enjoy all the cheesy goodness.
02 - Pop the dish on the oven's center rack and bake, uncovered, for anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. You want those edges bubbling and those tots crunchy and golden.
03 - Cover those tater tots from edge to edge with Cheddar. No bare spots!
04 - Pour frozen tater tots on top of everything in the pan. Leave them just as they are—no need to thaw.
05 - Take the beefy mix and spread it out in a 23×33 cm dish. Make sure it's nice and even across the bottom.
06 - Turn the heat down a bit. Stir in the mushroom soup, then sprinkle in salt and pepper to your taste. Give it a solid mix so it's all blended well.
07 - Toss beef into a big skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble it apart as you cook until the beef is all browned, about 7 to 10 minutes.
08 - Fire up the oven to 175°C and let it warm up while you prep the other parts.
