# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Dry Mix

01 - 400 g white sugar
02 - 5 g salt
03 - 6 g baking soda
04 - 6 g baking powder
05 - 75 g unsweetened cocoa
06 - 250 g plain flour

07 - 240 ml hot water
08 - 120 ml veg oil
09 - 10 ml vanilla flavor
10 - 240 ml full cream milk
11 - 2 big eggs

# Detailed Preparation Steps:

01 - Turn oven to 175°C and grease two 23 cm round pans. Then sprinkle them with flour so cakes don’t stick.
02 - Put flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a big bowl. Whisk it all up good and even.
03 - Crack eggs, pour in milk, oil, and vanilla. Use a mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes to mix it all together.
04 - Slowly add the boiling water and stir until the batter is smooth with no lumps.
05 - Split batter between the pans and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
06 - Keep cakes in the pans for 10 minutes then move them to wire racks so they cool down completely.
