Get a skillet hot over medium-high heat but don’t add oil. Fry each flatbread about 3 minutes on each side until they’re golden and fully cooked.

Punch down the dough, cut it into six equal pieces, then roll each piece to be about 1.25 cm thick and round.

Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and leave it somewhere warm for around an hour until it’s doubled in size.

Move the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 10 minutes till it feels smooth and stretchy.

Mix the olive oil and the yeast mixture into the flour and salt. Keep stirring until you get a rough dough.

Whisk together the salt and flour in a big bowl until they’re evenly mixed.

Stir sugar, yeast, and warm water together in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it bubbles up.
